2013

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

The holidays came early this year but it is never too late to wish all of you and all your loved ones a Happy and Healthy New Year that will see peace in our lives and in the world.

Our next meeting will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the home of our Financial Secretary RUBIN DRUCKER whose address appears below. If you cannot attend and wish a matter discussed, please let him know.

We are happy to report some good news from our members and we’ll try to do this in chronological order:

Brother MARK WILENSKY and his family celebrated the marriage of his daughter ALEXA to FRED MARSHALL.

KENNETH AND DARCI WEISSBROT welcomed a new grandson, NOAH MATTHEW born to their daughter JAMIE and her husband ADAM LENTER.

The WOHL family celebrated the Bat-Mizvah of LARA RACHEL BECKER who is the daughter of DR. ANDREW AND ROBYN BECKER, the granddaughter of MARSHA AND HAROLD WOHL, and the great-granddaughter of organizer SIMON WOHL.

Sharing events like these keep our Rymalower family a family through the years.

LAURENCE AND KATHLEEN WEISSBROT had another double Mitzvah with the births of grandson ROWAN to their daughter JILL and MATTHEW NEWBERG and granddaughter NECHAMA RAIZEL to HINDAH and JARED WEISSBROT.

PRESIDENT ERIC AND ARLEEN WEISSBROT celebrated the marriage of their son EVAN to VANESSA.

And most recently Brother MARK WILENSKY and his family welcomed grandson ROBERT ANDREW MARSHALL born to daughter ALEX and FRED MARSHALL.

MAZEL TOV and the best of luck to all!

Unfortunately, we also have to report the loss of Sister IRENE BERGER.  Our sincere condolences to BROTHER SAMUEL BERGER on the loss of his wife and to all the BERGER family.

We continue to exist and try to keep up with the times. We have a website (www.rymalower.com) and are on Facebook (friend us).  If you have members of your growing family eligible for membership, please consider having them join.  New members, especially the descendants of our long time members, are especially welcome and encouraged to join this part of their heritage.

And the inevitable closing—if you owe dues you will find it indicated below.

Sincerely,

RUBIN DRUCKER, FIN. SECY.                                                    ERIC WEISSBROT, PRESIDENT              4 Croyden Road

A Message From Our President

It is with deeply mixed emotions that I now enter the position of President of our Rymalower organization…an office that resulted from the recent and very painful loss of my father MORRIS WEISSBROT. I know, however, how important this society has always been to my family…from my grandfather to my father and so many other family members and I also am aware of the importance it has held for so many members for so many years, and of the need to keep it viable.

I therefore accept the duties and responsibilities and will do my best to serve you as a good President in the tradition of all those before me.

                                                                                        ERIC N. WEISSBROT

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

You are invited to attend our next meeting to be held on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at 12 Noon at the home of our Financial Secretary RUBIN DRUCKER whose address appears below, If you are unable to attend but wish to have a matter discussed, please contact our Secretary who will bring your topic up at the meeting.

It is a pleasure to be able to announce good news. Brother HAROLD and Sister MARSHA WOHL have informed us that 100 years after the birth of SIMON (SAM) and FANNY WOHL, another SAM was added to the world. SAMUEL FOSTER BECKER who was named for both of his great-grandparents was born in August to ROBYN (WOHL) BECKER and her husband, Dr. ANDREW BECKER. We remember how well Brother SAM WOHL served our organization for so many years as both Treasurer and Chairman of Cemetery. We wish a hearty Mazel-Tov to the whole family.

Unfortunately, we also have some bad news to report. Brother ABE GREENFIELD  passed away in Israel and was buried there. Our sincere condolences to all his family.

It’s that time again folks. If you owe any dues you will find it noted at the bottom of this letter.

We hope the New Year will be a good one for all.
